Annadhanam Program – 8th July 2018

Annadhanam was done at Ramalinga Adigalar Gurukulam, Kovilambakkam, Chennai on 8th July 2018, Sunday. It is a home for small children who are orphans, left out by single parent etc., and widows.

About 30 children and 5 elder people reside there and are given food and shelter. Children are being educated in nearby government school. Pariveshayati Trust offered help by serving quality meals to the resides of the orphanage home.

Before starting to eat, they prayed to God and thanked us for arranging food for the day. it was delightful to see such mannerism among such small children. After eating, children took us to their rooms. It was like they were wanting such company and they were excited by our presence. It was a Sunday and we spent some quality time with them and they enjoyed taking photographs.

Overall it is a great satisfaction of having the motive achieved. Such successful activities make us more stronger and boosts our goal to serve the needy bigger and better.

Annadhanam Program 20th November 2016

“Pariveshayati Trust”, with intention to feed the needy, deprived and poor, works accordingly, but, feeding all in India has become a complex issue with the prevailing conditions.
With limited resources, we proceeded and doing something. Days are passing, and we are getting calls for help from orphanages and old age homes.
This month, we received a call from "INDIA SMILE FOREVER FOUNDATION". One volunteer came immediately after calling. So we accepted to feed the children. Thus, we went to “ISF FOUNDATION - New Hope and New life Orphanage”, Perumbakkam and extended our service of feeding food to the children.
Nearly 100 children of age from 8 to 18 were there like flowers of different forms, with various colours and varieties of feelings, but, joined together and thus becoming a garland to Almighty.
We served the food, sat with them and ate also.
Before starting to eat, they prayed to God and thanked us for arranging food for the day.
After eating, the children started moving to carry out their daily routines. Some went for rest, some started cleaning, and some playing and so on.
When we interacted with the children, we found that they have so many dreams with wishes, desires and ambitions.
Some of them exhibited talents of drawing, painting composing poems and even applying science !
"Blown balloon tied to a cardboard box will move like a rocket when the air inside balloon is released". He was just 5 years old !
“O mushroom you drench always though you have umbrella of your own”, thus, composed one boy. We could note the originality of thinking of 6 years old boy!
We returned with satisfaction, happiness of fulfilment and dreaming for better service of feeding.
Some of the beautiful memories of the service

Annadhanam Program - 9th May 2016

The Trust continues to extend its services 180km beyond the grounds of Chennai at Cuddalore. Annadhanam was done at an Old age home in a village near Cuddalore which is a home for 30 driven away old people aging between 65 and 80 years out of which few are even mentally and physically challenged. It's a house for elders, ladies and small kids with similar or other bad challenges of life.

Following Mother's  day, the Annadhanam was done on the occasion of Akshaya thrithi at Annai Alamelu Oldage home, Cuddalore on 9th May 2016. About 20-25 driven away mothers, fathers, ladies and kids with served with Lunch, which was not the normal food they consume every day.
We visited the home, spent some time with them hearing out their worries, served them a full meal, and then convinced them that they are great challengers of life and that there are sources like Pariveshayati Trust to keep them happy.

Few talks from those parents would melt one's heart, as they are really very poor and struggling for their day to day survival. They have a good shelter though but when it comes to food, nothing!
MNTN-MADHAR NALA THONDU NIRUVANAM are doing a good job providing shelter and seeking support from different sources like us, to keep them fed to best possible. Pariveshayati Trust will be a regular solution for this homage and will try its best to visit them and feed them.
