Annadhanam Program – 22nd April 2017

Annadhanam was conducted by Pariveshayati Trust at Poorna Mehru Oldage home, Pallavaram on 22nd April 2017 ( Saturday).
There are about 40 senior people residing under the care of the home. Pariveshayati offered food requirements for one day. Volunteers visited the home on 22nd April 2017. They met the officials of the oldage home and participated in prayer which is part of their daily routine. After prayer, the annadhanam activity started where quality meals where offered by Pariveshayati to the elderly destitues. Volunteers too had food along with them. After food, they spent some time with the elders by talking about their life. It was sad to hear out their difficulties.
Volunteers consoled them spoke about their comfort of stay. The oldage home is taking their best efforts to provide all kinds of amenities to them.
This is yet another satisfying service done by Pariveshayati Trust. Few memories of the service:

Annadhanam Program – 12th February 2017

Pariveshayati trust continues to serve the needy and our service is extending the best way. Annadhanam was done at Sai Baba Gurukulam, Puzhichalur on 12th February 2017, Sunday. It is a home for small children who are orphans, left out by single parent etc., and widows.
About 40 children and 10 widows reside there and are given food and shelter. Children are being educated in nearby government school. Pariveshayati Trust offered help by serving quality meals to the resides of the orphanage home.
Before starting to eat, they prayed to God and thanked us for arranging food for the day. it was delightful to see such mannerism among such small children. After eating, children took us to play with them. It was like they were wanting such company and they were excited by our presence. It was a Sunday and we spent some quality time with them. We played with them and later spent some time with books.
The management of the orphanage request few amenities like sanitary items, mosquito repellent and All out liquids. We witness children suffering with mosquito bites and the trust provided the same to the children.
Overall it is a great satisfaction of having the motive achieved. Such successful activities make us more stronger and boosts our goal to serve the needy bigger and better.

Annadhanam Program - 16th January 2017

Annadhanam was done at Mahalakshmi Oldage home, Madipakkam on 16th January 2017, Monday. It is a home for elder people aged between 65 and 80.

About 30 elder people reside there and are given proper facilities and care. Some are bedridden and there is a separate care taker for such people. Pariveshayati Trust joined hands with the home and served quality meals to the elderly people and obtained the holy blessings of them.

People staying there expect a lot of company as a part of their age factor and we spent a lot of time with them. They discussed their personal grief with us. Though they are not happy to stay there, they do so just not to cause trouble to their children. It is very painful to hear such statements from elder people. They were very happy with our presence and appreciated our works from their heart with is indeed the success of our trust.

Few memories of the event:

We sincerely thank the management of Mahalakshmi Oldage Home, volunteers and one and all who supports us regularly to conduct such successful Charity Programs and provide us with opportunity to serve the poor and needy.

Annadhanam Program 20th November 2016

“Pariveshayati Trust”, with intention to feed the needy, deprived and poor, works accordingly, but, feeding all in India has become a complex issue with the prevailing conditions.
With limited resources, we proceeded and doing something. Days are passing, and we are getting calls for help from orphanages and old age homes.
This month, we received a call from "INDIA SMILE FOREVER FOUNDATION". One volunteer came immediately after calling. So we accepted to feed the children. Thus, we went to “ISF FOUNDATION - New Hope and New life Orphanage”, Perumbakkam and extended our service of feeding food to the children.
Nearly 100 children of age from 8 to 18 were there like flowers of different forms, with various colours and varieties of feelings, but, joined together and thus becoming a garland to Almighty.
We served the food, sat with them and ate also.
Before starting to eat, they prayed to God and thanked us for arranging food for the day.
After eating, the children started moving to carry out their daily routines. Some went for rest, some started cleaning, and some playing and so on.
When we interacted with the children, we found that they have so many dreams with wishes, desires and ambitions.
Some of them exhibited talents of drawing, painting composing poems and even applying science !
"Blown balloon tied to a cardboard box will move like a rocket when the air inside balloon is released". He was just 5 years old !
“O mushroom you drench always though you have umbrella of your own”, thus, composed one boy. We could note the originality of thinking of 6 years old boy!
We returned with satisfaction, happiness of fulfilment and dreaming for better service of feeding.
Some of the beautiful memories of the service

Annadhanam Program 11th September 2016

Annadhanam was done at Sri Padmavathi Amma aged home, Mangadu on 11th September 2016, Sunday. It is a home for Senior Citizens and mainly serves the elder people like aged and or physically retarded men and abundant, widower and old aged women. Elder people living there are all aged between 65 and 80.

The management takes a great effort in maintaining and taking of 65 people which is not an easy task! They provide average care to the people because of lack of funds and depend on Trusts or other sources to extend support to run them better.

Pariveshayati Trust joined hands with them and served quality meals to the elderly people and obtained the holy blessings of them. We served them food and spent time with them hearing out their grievances and consoled them which were the best we could do. It is painful to see such people being abandoned by their children or homes. But we hope the time we spent with them will be a very small console for them to their worries.

Few memories of the event:

We sincerely thank the management of Sri Padmavathi Amma Aged Home, Mangadu and the volunteers and one and all who supports us regularly to conduct such successful Charity Programs and provide us with opportunity to serve the poor and needy.

It's a big success for the Trust on organizing both Annadhanam and Buttermilk program on the same day ! On 7th August 2016, Periyapalayam Amman Temple, West mambalam (near Duraisamy subway) celebrated its annual Utsavam and the Goddess  was taken around the locality in a Chariot. When they passed by Venkatachalam Street at around 12pm in the noon, where Pariveshayati Trust office is located, we distributed buttermilk to all thirsty volunteers, music band people and devotees.
